Take some of the stress out of hiring by cross-training your current, reliable, and motivated employees. The Institute of Ultrasound Diagnostics offers a cross-training program for hospital employees with an allied health degree.
- Your selected candidate(s) will have up to 4 weeks of hands-on, in-person training at the IUD campus in Daphne, AL.
- In-person training (boot camp) includes lectures and one–on–one scan lab sessions.
- After the initial training, your candidate(s) will return to your hospital to continue training with your sonographers.
- The candidates will also have 12 months of access to abdomen, OBGYN, and ultrasound physics curriculum to prepare for ARDMS registry exams. IUD instructors will also be available to answer questions and help candidates through the material.
- Ideal candidates are current X-ray, CT, MRI, other 2 year allied health employees
- Online work is laid out to be completed over 12 months, but may be completed faster if desired.
